Leasing New Beginnings!

The Dublin Housing Authority has been serving the needs of the low-income population in Dublin as well as Laurens Countians since 1949. Initially, the focus of this agency was directed toward providing a decent, safe, and sanitary place in which to live. Today this is only one part of our Mission statement.

The DHA’s public housing program provides opportunities for attaining self-actualization and sustaining self-sufficiency for its residents.  Our programs focus on identifying one’s vison and to assist in providing avenues in which those visions can become reality. The main goal of our agency is to aid in ensuring that the family structure remains intact. Because of the successful competition and award of the Resident Opportunities and Self-Sufficiency-Service Coordinators grant for three consecutive terms spanning a course of nine years, we can provide programming in educational and vocational competency. Barriers such as transportation and childcare are combatted using our on-site After School Program and DHA Van/Bus program.

Notices

Our waiting list is temporarily CLOSED due to the number of  applications exceeding the number of vacancies until further notice.

As part of our website launch, we're introducing two new tools that are available through the applicant and tenant portal.  This allows individuals wishing to apply, to do so online.  Certified copies of birth certificates, Social Security Cards, Income Verification, and a picture identification of members over 18 will still be required.  These can be transferred electronically or taken to the office located at 500 W. Mary Street.

We are requiring that each resident go to the Resident Portal to register your account. This is a simple process.  Once this is done, you will be able to view your rent balance, submit work orders, as well as communicate directly to Property Managers. As always, we are prepared to assist you in any way possible with this new procedure.
